Evan M. Frazier

Picture
Evan Frazier is currently an undergraduate student at Pace University in New York City. He is working towards two Bachelor of Arts degrees, one in Economics, the other in Computer Science as well as a minor in Mathematics. Evan expects to graduate in May 2025 and wants to pursue a career in data science.

While at Pace University Evan has completed a research assistantship with Dr. Parisi in which the goal of the research was to determine an explanation for the upward trend in the severity and frequency of Atlantic storms. This previous experience is what led him to work with Dr. Dolar. Additionally, Evan was an Orientation Leader which allowed him to create a welcoming and inclusive environment to encourage prospective students to attend Pace University. Evan has always been committed to serving his community as he has been appointed to a similar role at his hometown church as a council member at the age of 15 which allowed him to improve the youth program. At the same time, he was a youth leader, leading students through programs on a weekly basis and creating an environment where kids can discover and be themselves.

Evan has also had the privilege of taking one of Dr. Veronika Dolar's classes at Pace University, Economics of Gender, Race, and Class. In addition to this class being a phenomenal introduction into the causes and effects of economic inequality; it was during this class that Evan was introduced to this project that he would eventually apply for and receive funding from Pace University with Dr. Dolar.
